The Oklahoma Municipal Court Not of Record exists in cities under 200,000 and has jurisdiction of all city ordinance violations.
The District Court Judges and Associate District Court Judges are elected in nonpartisan elections for four-year terms. The Workers' Compensation Court Judges are appointed by the Governor for six-year terms. Municipal Court Judges are appointed by the municipalities.
